DESCRIPTION:Pop-Up Event // Regional Shoreline Adaptation Plan \nJoin BCDC and our partners at this local community event to talk about climate change adaptation and sea level rise\, and tell us what you love about the Bay Area! \nAs part of BCDC’s Regional Shoreline Adaptation Plan\, we are creating a shared vision for the future of the Bay Area. We’re asking communities around the region to take a survey about their biggest concerns and priorities for climate adaptation along the Bay shoreline. We want you to help us reimagine our relationship to the Bay\, now and for future generations. \nWe want to hear from you! If you cannot attend this pop-up event but would like to contribute your thoughts on your values for the future of our shoreline\, please take this seven-minute survey. \nWe hope to see you there! \nABOUT THE EVENT \nJoin Supervisor John Gioia and Richmond City Councilmember Doria Robinson every Thursdays for FREE healthy activities\, healthy food giveaways\, sign up and learn about for activities and services offered by local community groups. This event is excited to announce that iHeart radio DJ\, free food giveaways\, roller skating\, health activities\, prizes\, and gift card raffles. Thank you to Contra Costa Health for supporting with event coordination and street outreach. Thank you to all the participants who have joined us monthly and will join us this Thursday. We have about 15 booths! Together\, we help build stronger and healthier communities.
